Congratulations to the students who received First Eucharist this weekend! I was very proud of all of you. You looked magnificent but more importantly you all prepared very well by thinking about the importance of nourishing your spirit at the Lord’s Table. How do you feel now that you have received communion for the first time?
Performance
Mrs. Lombardi and I were so proud of everyone in 3/4LM this week. Everybody worked so hard to rehearse and prepare for performance. The costumes looked great and I felt very lucky to be part of St. Damian’s community. What was your favourite part of performance? Did anything great/funny/interesting happen that you would like to share?
Bioglyphs!
Did you know that the word bioglyph means ‘life symbols’? Can you tell this person’s life story just from looking at the symbols? Everyone in 3/4LM has had a turn at making their own bioglyph now try making a bioglyph of somebody else, maybe a family member. Remember you will need to gather lots of information before you begin. Have fun!
Welcome to our class blog!
Hello everyone! We are looking forward to a great year of learning with everyone in 3/4LM. We are going to be a fantastic team! I really liked listening to everyone working together to figure what items to take to a desert island. The best bit was hearing students say that they were going to change their minds on what to bring so that the whole team could survive together. Mrs Lombardi will be surprised to see how much work we have already done! Make sure you show Mrs Lombardi all of the bioglyphs – I wonder if she will be able to figure out who everyone is!
