The Fatty Wizard By Holly 3/4LM

A long, long time ago there was a rude, beastly wizard, a smart king and a very, very, very dumb princess. They all lived in a massive kingdom on a hidden land, surrounded by gigantic mountains and beautiful view. There was a long lake nearby and near the lake there lived the wizard’s twin brother named Nick the nice, he was a wizard as well. “Could I please have some cupcakes now” commanded the king “no I am not your slave” yelled the fat wizard “ and since you said that I am going to turn you and your dumb daughter fatter than me” shouted the beastly wizard. They could hardly walk, so they had to roll somehow some way. They rolled and rolled over the bridge and all the princess was saying was “I’m so fat but wait I’m still beautiful” said the dumbest princess of them all. They were actually tired of rolling so tried bouncing, so they bounced all the way to Nick the nicest house. After that the king told him everything that happened,   so Nick tried to make a potion, he tried three times and the fourth was finally right. So Nick gave them both the potion and cured them. He also made a

Poisonous spell to come in handy. They stomped furiously to the palace and when they got there all they saw was a pig in a pigsty. He was eating five massive chickens, but its stuffing wasn’t seasoning it was stuffed with candy apples and fairy floss. When he saw the princess, king and his brother he gasped with anger and threw his chickens at them. They were running around the room and Nick just remembered that he still had the poison so he put it all over he’s beastly brother. The beastly wizard died because the poison and the king and princess never ever turned bad again.        They lived happy ever after!!            THE END

 

HUNTING

One day a year my family and I go hunting for wild pigs. Dad and I go in one car with a trailer that is full of bikes. It takes us six and a half hours to get to our destination. When we get there we set up the barbecue and get the motor bike’s off the trailer. As soon as the bikes were off the trailer I couldn’t wait to ride my bike on a big lump of dirt that I had seen earlier. My family finally believed that I could jump off without hurting myself.  It was one of my best jumps ever!

We organised our fishing rods and set off to the river and to my surprise I got six fish.  We decided that the pigs had gone off on their own holiday as we didn’t even see one for good luck.

Our sleeping arrangements were rather primitive as we had to sleep in sheds.  Each day was a new adventure and we couldn’t wait till morning came around again.

Breakfast was just divine, crispy bacon and farm fresh eggs not to mention the yummy fire toasted bread.

Unfortunately this great adventure came to an end and we happily packed the cars and started the long journey home.  As soon as we arrived home we had a hot shower and jumped into our pyjamas and had a yummy dinner.  We can’t wait until next year when we do it all over again.

 

Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday I went to my grandmother’s house but before we obviously collected all the creamy, chocolate coated Easter eggs at my house. It was a grand occasion because it was the first time in 12 years that the whole of the side of my mum’s side was in the same roof. When we first arrived we were the only ones there so we waited and waited one my grandmother’s comfortable couches. Bye 1:30 everyone was here and we feasted on lots of different Lebanese foods such as crunchy vinegary salads and mouth watering breads. After lunch we played with our cousins for about an hour then it was time to crack the eggs. The whole point of the game is to challenge a friend and grab a hard-boiled egg, one would attack one would defend you would smash both eggs together and the one not cracked would win. My older cousin Norman cheated and used a rubber egg and was disqualified which meant that my sister Naomi won. By 4:30 everyone had left including us and as soon as we got home we ate dinner then sat down on the couch and watched TV.

Going To Joel’s. By Oliver S

 

Last Thursday I was so looking forward to because I had not seen Joel since he went on a holiday to Asia. On that day we played the wii, and half a hour later we went to Greensborough Plaza. we got Mc Donald’s for lunch, then headed straight for the Movies. At the movies we watched The Lego Movie. I would give it a 9.5/10 rating, is was funny with a lot of action. Later on we went back to Joel’s house and had a close game of Monopoly Empire, in the end Joel won. A few hours went quickly and before I new it, it was time to go… wait it was not finished yet. My mum picked me up and said “you are going to uncle Pauls house tonight so I was with my uncle all night. We hired the Avengers, and got Vietnamese food for dinner. We ate then came back and watched the Avengers at about 11 O’clock my parents picked me up to go home.
